odd news story

Someone in my triathletes group passed on a news story about a man who has been put on the sex offenders registry in Scotland for having sex with a bicycle. I'm usually pretty intolerant about sex crimes but I don't get this one. According to the story he was alone behind a locked door. So who was hurt?
