I'm not supposed to put any pressure on my shoulder (A-C joint separation) for several weeks. Or could one ride on a trainer entirely no-handed? That way you can ride...Do you have a bike trainer? That way you can ride your own bike instead of an exercise bike. It's still not the same as being outside, but it does let you make adjustments to your bike, get used to it, work on cadence and long slow rides, or good interval work.
